Send them a text or do it live, connect your appreciation to something that you think they value. For example, “I really appreciate how you pay attention to the little things in your yard. You seem to really value order and simplicity. I like having you as a neighbor!”

Thank you for the whole idea of the100days. It was so heartwarming to see the comments, it was like re-meeting old friends, recognizing their essence and communication styles, smiling as I take in their wisdom. Also to have a taste of your warmth , humor and humbleness. Yes, we are all in this boat together rowing MIA along. Somehow, it all reminds me of one of my favorite folk songs “Michael row the boat ashore“
Self-empathy is my first step in strengthening my MI skills. So after some thoughts, I decided that I should offer this affirmation to myself. I am generous, courageous, creative, and skillfull. It's wonderful to be an independent woman.
